Logan Express could help Worcester Airport. Why not make Logan Express’s Framingham bus end at Worcester Airport? They would own the starting and end point, and we could nab some metro west people. Just a thought

I read that no one is keeping track of the City events. Shouldn't that be one of the jobs of this group?

Well, there won’t be any major concerts to keep track of. They made the door too small. You can’t make it up.

The door at Fenway Park is just as small and they have no problem hosting concerts.

I will admit I am not an expert on stadiums or concert stages but I assume Sandy Dunn is. I went back and reread the article and she said That James Taylors stage wouldn't fit so I am assuming she is saying a crane would be required to get the stage onto the field. I assume that cost can more easily be spread out amongst the ticket price at Fenway with their larger seating capacity than at Polar Park. I may be wrong but....

So, David Z, where are the Polar Park concerts?

I stumble on a field of scheme post on the concerts which was retweeted on a local twitter account. A must read (or post)

Worcester airport was extremely busy today, probably the busiest I’ve seen it since pre covid. The flight from FLL to ORH had a lot of people leaving and entering the airport to go back and the delta flight to LGA today is practically sold out. Only seats left is 1 first class and 4 that are coach at the emergency exit doors. There was a ton of private jets/planes up here today too, saw 8 of them parked at the airport including the WWE one for tonight (their show is at the DCU center tonight) but alliance aviation and/or rectrix seems to be getting a lot of people willing to park their planes at the airport. Massport’s website shows that electric charging stations will be open next month at the airport and there is 4 spots on the upper lot for electric car owners to park and charge their vehicles. Only thing that didn’t make sense was the mid day JetBlue flight back to JFK sat for 30 minutes next to the runway waiting to takeoff while other planes were able to go ahead of it resulting in the flight leaving late. Didn’t sound like there was an issue (according to conversations on ATC with the airport and planes) but the controller was just not letting JetBlue go and let a good amount of other planes land or takeoff before.
Either way, extremely busy up at the airport today, Fort Lauderdale flight is now earlier (departure time is now at 355 to go back to Florida instead of 530) and it seems like Massport has been improving the parking at the airport.

Another little thing to add, I’ve been coming up here a lot in the past 3 years, I have never seen the upper lot full and have no spaces available until today. If airlines think there isn’t demand for flights up here they really need to take another look. Even if it was a seasonal winter flight to Florida, it would still gain huge popularity no matter what airline does the flight.
