Interesting responses on Twitter to last week post that City
of Worcester does not own the land yet, where we intend to build Polar Park.
Only 20 months till opening day (April , 2021).
Seems like we are the only one concerned about the terms of this sale...

In exchange for the TIFs the city is giving Madison Properties for its private development, Madison agreed to give the city the land for the ballpark on the north side of Madison St at no cost.— Nick Kotsopoulos (@NCKotsopoulos) August 21, 2019
Nick i just reread the agreement and the section on Consideration. Where are you seeing that Madison has agreed to give the land for no cost?? Not trying to be difficult, I just do not see it that way in this agreement??— Worcester Airport (@FlyOrh) August 21, 2019
I'm on vacation and I don't have the agreement with me. But it has been repeatedly said and reported that in exchange for the two TIFs and the one TIE that Madison would transfer the land for the ballpark to the city at no cost.— Nick Kotsopoulos (@NCKotsopoulos) August 21, 2019

Sue, to whom was that addressed? Nick, I hope ;)@FlyOrh , your question is not unreasonable given the stakes. I, along with many others, had raised questions from the beginning about how Madison fits in and whether the city was comfortable with seemingly little security. ...— Mark Henderson (@henderson_mark) August 22, 2019
