The 8/18/2018 Masslive article which your last post has a link to says the City paid Zimbalist and a law firm $178,000. You should go back and look at the article because it has over 100 photos from what the area looked like to the renderings of the park and the development.

Delta announced that they will no longer expand service for the rest of 2022. So even though it was highly unlikely anyways, we won’t see a flight to Atlanta anytime soon and no earlier than 2023. Hope Massport is at least talking to Delta about it. Delta is looking to order a lot more either A220s or Boeing 737 max 10s. Which might not mean much, but smaller aircraft are perfect for an ORH to ATL flight or to a popular vacation destination like Orlando or West Palm Beach. I’ve mentioned before that the A220-100 would be the best aircraft for a flight to Atlanta and this could help Delta expand to smaller airports. Let’s just hope Massport is actually talking to airlines about flights coming to ORH. They’ve been mentioning for a long time they have but nothing new has come up so why can’t we know what airlines are being talked too and to what destinations?

The Patch reported that the WooSox negotiated the Rockland Trust deal at Pickett Park. During the discussion at the WRA meeting about a change order a woman named Sherri Pitcher questioned the naming rights. 80,000 per year split between the Cityand the WooSox. It is good that we finally have someone asking questions.

If Rockland is paying $80,000 a year for this park, how much do you think Polar is paying for the naming rights on the Ball park and how much does the City get from that?

Zimbalist should enroll in an economics coarse at Holy Cross and watch the evolution of the Polar Park project and write a paper on the 5 year anniversary. I hope the economics professor grades it fairly.
