I like these signs and they are helpful for neighborhood identity, especially for visitors and travelers.

Editor's note:   Next time I hear anyone mention anything about these $3,000,000 wayfinder signs will be the first time.      Now with everyone having cell phones this investment never made any sense whatsoever.

I have walked or driven by the one by the Hanover a million times and thought it looked neat but never stopped to look at it. I just googled it and found an article from Mass Live on the wayfinding. The $3 million was supposed to cover 275 signs and kiosks. There are pictures of the other signs. The one by the DCU center says Theatre District. Why didn't they put that one by the Hanover?

You can walk from one end of the downtown to the other in about 10 minutes. Do we really need signs to direct people?

When is the outdoor plaza at the Hanover going to be finished? They've been working on this for 6 years.

It’s expected to open this fall. And I don’t believe they’ve been working on it for 6 years.

I just did a Google search. It was announced in 2016 and construction got underway last year.

It takes time for the planning and approval process plus they were waiting for the Main Street project to be completed before construction commenced.

Someone familiar with the project told me the back story. The City had to rebid the project because the initial bid came in substantially over budget. The rebid came in over the estimate but the City awarded the bid. What the final cost will be or when it will be complete is anyone's guess. The contractor is the same one who did Pickett Park.

I’m on board FLL to ORH. Completely full flight and departing on-time. Good news

A group of kids from Worc. Tech could have probably built it in 6 months. $3 million for the dumb signs downtown and $250k to put some lights under the railroad bridge. This City loves wasting taxpayer money.

Hey Jeremy. I hope they have someone to operate the jetway.

The City wastes a lot of our money but the lights under the railroad bridges were for people going to ball games that did not feel comfortable leaving games at night?

Pickett Park and disco lights. How much money is the City going you spend on the WooSox at the expense of the rest of the City? Who is keeping track of all of these expenses?
