City Council Tuesday Night: Holden Looking for Money From Worcster

The amount of money is quite substantial

 

 

 7a. The City Council convene in Executive Session at the Tuesday, March 22, 2022, meeting for the purpose of discussing litigation strategy with respect to the case of Town of Holden v. Department of Conservation and Recreation and the City of Worcester, Superior Court Department Civil Action No. 1385CV00910D, and the City Council will reconvene in open session.

The City has gone into executive session a lot of times in recent months. Unnamed sources, on deep back ground, familiar with the lawsuits tell us Augustus' response when asked about settling the cases is "I would settle if I had not given everything to the WooSox".
