 Still confused by agenda item1

Authorize the execution of a Garage Lease Agreement, Reciprocal Easement Agreement, and Contract for Payment in Lieu of Taxes with Madison WG Holdings, LLC, and acceptance of a deed from Madison WG Holdings, LLC conveying Parcel G on the plan recorded with the Worcester Registry of Deeds at Plan Book 960, Plan 60.

We thought a PILOT (payment in lieu of taxes) was for non-profits like the colleges that do not pay any real estate taxes.   Do not see any details on the PILOT???

Side note, JetBlue just purchased 30 more A220s and is expecting the E190s to be retired by the end of 2026. Since people really like the 3/2 configuration on that plane for its more popular routes and has had a lot of positive feedback, it’ll be interesting what type of aircraft worcester would get. The A220 will have the least amount of seats (140) but the A320 classic (150) won’t be far behind so only time will tell but if the A220 was the new aircraft for Worcester’s routes, then a lot more people would fly out of Worcester just because of that aircraft and how some people are saying it’s the best one JetBlue has.

Thank you for getting this. There is a lot of information here that they should automatically make public. Where are the agreements mentioned on the agenda?

Two things I noticed from reading the attachments. First, from the excerpt of the LDDA it states Madison has no obligation to pay taxes without stating why. This appears contrary to what you previously have posted. Second, buried on page 119 is a spreadsheet which appears to say that the garage is $1 million over budget.

I need to talk to Mr Dowdle about lottery numbers. Tax breaks, buying properties just before big things, he can’t miss. Prophet like

Will Dwodle profit by building the buildings proposed or will he profit by selling the property for more than he bought it for. The property has to be worth more since the City built a road and constructed a garage on the property. Also the gas station is in overdrive compared to Dwodle. I think all three or four buildings they are constructing will be done before Dwodle finishes his foundation on the first building. I think they started this construction after Dwodle. What's up with that?

Here's an idea. Instead of giving tax breaks to these big businesses you lower the taxes for everyone and not pit me against someone else. When I bought my house I invested in the City too.

Dont forget Dwodle also developed walmart property. Parking lot was paved before building construction because of the polluted
Land he did not clean. They had to after because the equipment tore it all up. But mission accomplished.

And I do appreciate what is happening in the city. I just do not appreciate the fact that the chosen few seem to be in the know a little early, get the assistance ect ect while all of the mis steps will cost the taxpayers at some point. Also the fact that the city has not done as much to help the businesses that have been here.

I agree but the City doesn't care about the residents either, except my real estate tax payments.

If the law you posted says taxes should be paid why aren't they being paid?
