JetBlue Comment

Side note, JetBlue just purchased 30 more A220s and is expecting the E190s to be retired by the end of 2026.

Since people really like the 3/2 configuration on that plane for its more popular routes and has had a lot of positive feedback, it’ll be interesting what type of aircraft worcester would get.

The A220 will have the least amount of seats (140) but the A320 classic (150) won’t be far behind so only time will tell but if the A220 was the new aircraft for Worcester’s routes, then a lot more people would fly out of Worcester just because of that aircraft and how some people are saying it’s the best one JetBlue has.

JetBlue will add Orlando back on its ORH schedule, its just a matter of time.

What JB is doing at the moment is building up its ORH-JFK flight connections, which with two flights a day, offers a lot more flight options to the passengers. At the same time, JB is learning the locations ORH passengers are connecting to out of JFK. ORH relies 100% on BOS Logan, and as long as JB is happy at Logan, they will still fly out of ORH.

I had two recent flights on the A220 from FL back to BOS, and I can say first hand that it is in fact a great airplane to be on. It offers more room than the E190, but just a little smaller than the A320. The inflight experience was also great! Hopefully ORH can have those planes at some point.

You're assuming that JetBlue is still going to be around here by 2026. I think it's 50/50.

I do somewhat question JetBlue's long-term commitment to ORH because they didn't come back with the popular Orlando flight.

On my recent round trip on Jet Blue ORH-FLL there at least three fellow passengers that only recently discovered this flight and that parking was free. Two said they found $50 fares for this flight and we’re planning a weekend trip spur of the moment.

It’s a great option and resource. We just need to let people know about it.
