Flew to Fort Lauderdale last Saturday to a complete sold out flight.
How's Delta and American doing? American seems to be code sharing flights with JB now, I believe they should start to pick up as well. Delta needs to add another earlier flight to LaGuardia or add Atlanta, that would be great!

Can you provide more info on codesharing? I am not able to book flights across both airlines and it would be great if you can share. Thanks!

Took the JetBlue Fort Lauderdale flight Tuesday and was about 70% full. Took off 30 minutes late but still got there on time. Taking delta back Tuesday. It’ll be interesting to see how that is

I don’t see the code shares yet. AA is doing terrible, they have been moving passengers in the single digits. Delta is doing better but not like they were a few weeks ago.

AA is really doing horrible. I have no clue why MassPort or Andy Davis are not doing outreach. The community has no idea about these routes and their possibilities. They should be tapping colleges, businesses, and social centers.

I noticed today on the website of Holy Cross, there is no mention of ORH.

Check it out: https://www.holycross.edu/apply/international-students/holy-cross-location

Worcester’s central New England location makes it easy to get to Holy Cross, whether you fly into Logan International Airport in Boston, Bradley International Airport near Hartford, Connecticut, or T.F. Green Airport near Providence, Rhode Island. All three airports are less than an hour’s drive to Holy Cross.

Seriously??? What about ORH???

AA only pushed their calendar out about 75 days. If I want to book travel 90 days out, it won’t be on AA because the flight isn’t available. It seems like they are going out of their way to fail. All this talk about codeshare with JB is just talk I’m afraid. Sadly, I don’t think AA will be around much longer. We will take another hit

We have no contacts with AA, but it concerns us also when you only see 75 days??? makes no sense!! Starting to believe that this may not last much longer either

Bill. You hearing from any of your sources when Southwest is going to come in with their 5 flights a day? Any update when Breeze or Avelo are going to start service hear?

Something great is happening at ORH and it needs to be shared! The airlines have adjusted pricing and now you can fly to NYC for only $35 if you book in advance!! Check it out… try booking after Feb 7 with Jetblue, Delta or AA or google flights.

$35 is a great deal, even cheaper than a 5 hour Peter Pan or Greyhound bus ride.

Why isn’t this line being advertised!! Who is responsible here?? What can WE do to promote our airport??

The airport's a lost cause. It's been trapped in a cycle of failure for over 50 years. Best for Massport to just hand over the keys to Amazon. Massport's been looking to dump cargo on ORH for 35 years. The city council got wise to this when Massport wanted to buy it in 1985. They never had any intention of ORH being a serious reliever to Logan for passenger traffic. You think Massport would have invested $100 million in ORH to get 400,000 passengers a year? The City was handling that amount with the old terminal and poor landing systems in 1990.
I would think that sometime in the next 12-18 months Amazon will announce their plans for a major cargo facility at ORH.

Just read in the WBJ that the owner of Russo's and Lock 50 has purchased three additional lots near his restaurants. Exited to hear what his plans are.

I don't live near the airport but if Amazon can use it for freight for a reasonable payment AND not disrupt the residential neighborhoods I do not understand what the issue would be.

Did Russo buy the properties for parking or to develop? Does the article say?

That's a good question. He wouldn't comment when they asked. Maybe both or maybe he will look at residential or retail?

ORH needs to change its name... How about Boston-Worcester International Airport?

https://wikitravel.org/en/Metropolitan_Area_Airport_Codes

We also need a metropolitan area airport code. BOS should be Logan and Worcester. Logan can be LOG and Worcester can still be ORH.

Just like NYC includes EWR, LGA and JFK.

Maybe I'm missing something, but how can you call Worcester an "international" airport when it doesn't have any international flights? In fact, our airport only has flights to NYC and Florida.
I think on average we have about 150 passengers that fly out every day. I think about 100,000 use Logan everyday.

I like the idea of calling ORH Boston-Worcester Airport
And the call letter should be changed from ORH to WOO

I see the AA codeshares for JetBlue on a Logan flights, not ORH, which I shall henceforth call WOO!

AA has added to their schedule and it is now booking as late as October. Flights on AA website shows available to book up to October 6th.
