Maybe these NYC flights were already cancelled due to COVID shortages before snow today???

If all the JetBlue flights are cancelled, why is the AA flight empty?
Since JetBlue and AA are in an alliance for Boston and New York airports, why don’t they fill the AA flight with the JetBlue cancelled passengers…

These flights are cancelled due to Staff Shortages on JetBlue’s end. I have direct access to the flight schedules. All flights for January & February are supposed to be daily no exceptions. These where cancelled prior to the snow. I don’t know how much JB wants public so I’m just going to leave it at staff shortages.

My sister works for JetBlue. ^ This is correct ^. From what I’ve overheard it’s a non issue that will resolve itself within a week or 2. Nothing to be concerned of. I guess it’s happening throughout the system. This blog just focuses on this 1 airport so we pick up on it here is all.

Could’ve sworn these where cancelled due to weather…but I could very well be wrong. I know staffing was an issue a few weeks ago but haven’t heard anything since.
