What's going to happen when your flight gets delayed or cancelled out of WRA. Your going to end up at Logan anyway, but much more frustrated. People have been saying for 50 years how much more convenient our airport is as far as processing times. Unfortunaetly, travelers that have that opinion haven't utilized our airport to the point it's profitable for the airlines. Just a cycle of failure over the last 50 years. Nothing is different now, but a couple people that are naive and delusional. Good Luck!!! Also, do you like cleaning your car off after it has a foot of ice and snow on top of it? Are you aware that the airport had two major security breaches recently? One whack job stole a fuel truck and tried to drive it into the terminal building. Also, one of the airport's employee brought a loaded gun into the perimeter of the airport and blew his brains out. You really feel comfortable bringing your family to a place like that? When has this happened at any of the other airports in our area?

American flights from ORH -JFK on an E175 are officially available to book on their website starting in January. Just as I stated over a month ago….

On getting rerouted to Logan over Gary’s comment-
With 3 airlines flying to NYC you now have options at ORH should your flight have an issue. Once in JYC you can literally fly anywhere that has an airport.

I think that before the virus JB was on the verge of cancellomg the JFK service. They were flying with the planes half empty. With AA flying to the Same airport
I don't they can both survive. It's possible that they are setting themselves up for failure to give them a reason to pull out. Are any of the airlines we have spending any money on promoting their service. I don't see Massport doing anything, but the free parking thing. Years ago when the City was running the airport they were doing TV, Radio and print advertising.

I agree, Gary, that ORH should be marketed with a much bigger effort.

Not many people at all know that you can get anywhere right from ORH, even people that live within 5 miles of the airport!

JFK JetBlue flights have been doing better than anticipated. Averaging a 60% load factor on both flights once averaged out. Considering travel is still down overall across the US this is better than was planned. FLL is averaging 85-90+% load factor. Recently some JFK flights have been over 80% load factor. Most likely due to holiday travel but this shows people are taking advantage of the available connections. This is promising. For example today’s mid day JFK turn had 82 arriving pax & 90 departing. On a plane that seats 100. The Night/AM JFK flight was about 60% full. The FLL flight is arriving with 95 pax & departing in the AM with 97. I.E. the FLL flights full. Delta flights to LGA have been fairing Ok from what I have heard. Don’t have specifics on their load factors. Will update when I know more.
