Where's Waldo List Addition

Drove by Polar Park and notice all the police from Kelley Square to Southbridge Street.   Remember this story from Spectrum news???

Worcester Still Hasn't Decided Who's Paying For Police Detail At Polar Park

With Opening Day just days away, Worcester still hasn't worked out who's paying for police details at Polar Park

  1. Updated pro forma reflecting current costs of at least $159,500,000 and no development from Phase I
  2. An Auditor's report on the updated pro forma
  3. Final Costs of Polar Park.   It sure is more then $159,500,000.  We are guessing $175,000,000.
  4.  Completed LDA of  the Left Building Site.
  5. When will Madison actually break ground on any of their projects???
  6. Who is paying for Polar Park police details??

Bill, you KNOW that Worcester taxpayers are paying for the details and everything else.

Why would the city leaders do anything BUT pile on taxpayers? They never have a negative consequence for doing it. They get re-elected constantly and any challenger is a woke and broke “tax working people into bankruptcy” type and give me their money. Not viable alternatives.

Then there are the city manger reviews. All excellent when the info that you are calling for is hidden from the city. No consequence. The council worker doesn’t care or doesn’t understand the finances and the effects on the city.

I have heard a rumor that someone, the City or the WooSox, has racked up over $250,000 in unpaid detail bills.
If this is true it just goes to show how lame the local media is. They run a story back months ago then do not follow up on it and some blog about the airport needs to make comment on it. The journalism in the City is dead and it has been replaced with a blog that is probably not eligible for a Pulitzer Prize.
