Worcester Is Very Similar To Akron-Canton

" The new airline arrives at Akron-Canton on Saturday with a flight from Tampa, Florida. By the end of July, Breeze plans to offer service from Akron-Canton to New Orleans and Charleston, South Carolina, along with Tampa"

All of these destinations would do well out of ORH.

"The airline is based in Slat Lake City, Utah, but will focus service on four cities, Charleston, New Orleans, Tampa and Norfolk, Virginia. The airline is starting off with flights connecting 16 cities in the Midwest, Southeast, Southwest and along the East Coast."

Not quite sure why this is relevant since Breeze said about one month ago that they have no interest in starting service out of ORH. More black helicopter conspiracy theories. Maybe we can get Bob Lazar up there to signal in alien spaceships.

Having flown both airports multiple times I must agree. Both are extremely convenient for travelers and both are not necessarily easy to drive to if you aren’t familiar with the area (assuming you are somehow unable to use Waze or another GPS app or your car has no NAV).

Both feature easy access to luggage, rental cars and parking. Essentially everything is mere steps away. Both have the same employees that eventually actually recognize you! Both are uncrowned even at peak times.

Both give you access to multiple larger metropolises, very good especially if you need to visit all of them as they are equally spdistant to the airport (max one hour in any direction).

Earlier this year JetBlue said they would not be coming back to ORH this year. Trust us, Breeze is looking at ORH. As is Avelo...

Doesn't make sense that if Breeze was looking at ORH they would comment in the media that they weren't. They could just as easily said that they are always looking for new opportunities. JetBlue is only back because their CEO has some kind of fondness for Worcester after attending HC. When they get 30% load factors after 6 months they'll be gone. Would you have opened your check cashing store at the same location two previous ones failed?

You comment that you aren’t interested as a negotiating tactic to make the seller sweeten the deal. It exposes how badly the seller wants the sale.

Keep it in mind the next time that you are shopping for a car (or anything, really). Also remember, “if you need an answer right now, then the answer is no.”

I'm pretty sure Jetblue, Delta and American got sweet deals to fly out of ORH. How did that work out?

RE: "Trust us, Breeze is looking at ORH..As is Avelo"
Facts: David Neeleman has publicly stated that Breeze has identified 1000 city-pairs. Pretty long odds for ORH!
Avelo has committed itself to a 1.2 million dollar upgrade to NEW HAVEN airport

Hi, Common Sense. It worked out great for me personally until COVID closed the airport.

The time I saved flying out of ORH when I had to go to the limited destinations offered was extremely helpful. Once you get that benefit you don’t want to lose it.
