Live Nation, the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based entertainment company, and Howard Saffan, owner of SportsCenter of Connecticut, announced this week that they were selected as developers and operators to bring entertainment to a new amphitheater at Bridgeport's Harbor Yard. The development of the amphitheater was chosen over continuing the 20-year run the Bridgeport Bluefish — an independent Atlantic League team — had at the ballpark.
