Spirit just announced a big purchase. The discount carrier has entered into a deal with Airbus to purchase 100 A320neo family jets. Spirit's deal with Airbus also gives the carrier the option to purchase an additional 50 aircraft. The deal leaves room for Spirit to purchase a mix of A319neo, A320neo and A321neo models based on the carrier's future fleet requirements. Insiders estimate that the deal between Spirit and Airbus is worth somewhere around $12 billion.





Spirit is going to use these plans for expansion.     Worcester???
